Hi friends 👋 I wanted to pop on and share an update regarding my online store.

As of August 29th, the de minimis exemption is going away. This exemption allowed certain low-value goods shipped to the US without extra taxes/duties.

For now, there’s no impact on my current shop. I work with a third party to deliver products that are produced/shipped locally, and they've communicated that there are no changes there. The only possible change down the road could be if suppliers face higher costs for certain materials, but it’s still too early to know what that will look like.

That said, I’ve decided to pause the launch of my sticker shop for now. Stickers would mostly ship via lettermail, but I don't have enough information to know how (or if) these new rules might affect that process.
